Fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving through unique, hands-on experiences.
As a creative leader with a background in art, storytelling, and collaborative projects, I specialize in guiding groups through engaging, fun, and thought-provoking exercises that unlock new ways of thinking and creative problem-solving. My workshops are designed to help teams break out of their routine thinking patterns, improve collaboration, and explore innovative solutions through artistic expression.
Sample Offerings:
Mystery Drawing Game
Based on the Surrealists' Exquisite Corpse Game, this exercise sparks imagination and teamwork. Participants create a drawing in stages, with each person adding to a section without seeing the previous one. The final result is a surprising and collaborative work of art, showcasing the magic of collective creation.
The Mystery Drawing Game encourages participants to let go of perfection and embrace spontaneity. It’s a wonderful way to explore creative thinking, visual storytelling, and teamwork — all while learning how individual perspectives can merge into something far greater than any one person could envision alone.
This activity has been a favorite among both children and parents, who enjoy the laughter, surprise, and sense of discovery it brings. The shared experience opens conversations about imagination, trust, and the creative process itself — making it an ideal addition to family art workshops, community events, and educational programs seeking to foster creativity and connection across generations.
Panda Sculpture Project
This hands-on sculpture project was designed as a culturally responsive art activity for a school community with a predominantly Chinese heritage. Parents had expressed a desire for a creative, family-based project that would allow them to actively participate alongside their children.
The Panda Sculpture Project invited families to explore one of China’s most beloved cultural symbols—the panda—through a playful, accessible, and educational art experience. Working with clay encouraged fine motor development, hand–eye coordination, and creative problem-solving, while the open-ended format allowed each participant to personalize their sculpture with unique details and imaginative touches.
The accompanying photographs (with participants’ faces blurred for privacy) illustrate the joyful collaboration, focus, and pride that emerged as families worked side-by-side to bring their pandas to life.
Exploring Collage
This art activity is a vibrant exploration of self-expression, blending humor with a cathartic outlet. Participants dive into a world of collage, taking magazine photos and transforming them into unique narratives. These materials allow for freedom and spontaneity, encouraging individuals to break free from the constraints of traditional art-making.
The process demands no prior artistic experience, which democratizes the act of creation. It invites participants to embrace their imagination and creativity, turning mundane images into whimsical, thought-provoking pieces. As they layer colors and textures, the act becomes a release, enabling artists to channel their emotions and frustrations onto the paper.
Pouring Paint Parties
Based on the Surrealists' Exquisite Corpse Game, this exercise sparks imagination and teamwork. Participants create a drawing in stages, with each person adding to a section without seeing the previous one. The final result is a surprising and collaborative work of art, showcasing the magic of collective creation.
The Mystery Drawing Game encourages participants to let go of perfection and embrace spontaneity. It’s a wonderful way to explore creative thinking, visual storytelling, and teamwork — all while learning how individual perspectives can merge into something far greater than any one person could envision alone.
